Disclaimer
Auziplan models business outcomes from the assumptions you provide. This notice sets out what those outputs are — and are not — so you know exactly what you can rely on before making a decision or presenting a plan to a third party.
1. Purpose of this notice
Auziplan is a financial modelling and business planning tool. This Disclaimer explains the limits of what the application produces and the basis on which you may rely on it. It applies alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; where the Terms address the same subject, this notice expands on it rather than replacing it.
2. No professional advice
Nothing in Auziplan — including projections, dashboards, statements, benchmarks, valuations, exit analysis, tax and GST/VAT calculations, loan schedules, AI commentary, generated documents or template contracts — constitutes financial, investment, accounting, taxation or legal advice, and no advisory or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of the service.
Before you act on anything produced here, have it reviewed by a qualified accountant, tax agent, financial adviser or lawyer who is licensed in your jurisdiction and who understands your circumstances.
3. Projections are illustrations, not forecasts
Every figure produced by the application is a modelled outcome derived from the inputs and assumptions you or the templates provide. Projections are inherently uncertain and depend on trading conditions, competition, pricing, costs, funding, regulation and management decisions that cannot be predicted.
Actual results will differ, often materially, from any projection shown. Past or benchmark performance for an industry is not a guarantee or indication of your future performance.
4. Assumptions, benchmarks and AI research
Industry benchmarks, growth rates, cost ratios and similar defaults are estimates drawn from AI-assisted research and general reference data. They are starting points intended to be reviewed and overridden on the Assumptions page, not verified statistics for your specific business, location or trading period.
AI-generated research and commentary can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong. You are responsible for checking any assumption before you rely on it.
5. Tax, GST/VAT and statutory rates
Tax rates, GST/VAT treatment, payroll on-costs and statutory thresholds used in the model are simplified representations intended for planning. They may not reflect current legislation, your registration status, applicable concessions, exemptions, thresholds, industry-specific rules or the position of your revenue authority.
Reports produced by Auziplan — including any Business Activity Statement style summary — are planning aids only. They are not lodgement-ready statutory returns and must not be submitted to a revenue authority without review by a registered tax or BAS agent.
6. AI-generated content
Marketing plans, pitch narrative, plan reviews and similar text are generated by artificial intelligence from the details you supply. Output may contain factual errors, generic claims or statements that are unsuitable for your market or unlawful in your jurisdiction. Review, verify and edit anything generated before you publish it, send it to investors or lenders, or otherwise rely on it.
7. Documents and templates
Contract templates and corporate documents available in the Print Centre — including non-disclosure agreements, board resolutions, IP assignments and term sheets — are generic drafting starting points. They are not drafted for your jurisdiction or your transaction, have not been reviewed by a lawyer for your circumstances, and should not be signed or issued without independent legal review.
8. Use with investors, lenders and third parties
If you present a plan, dossier or report generated in Auziplan to an investor, bank, grant body or any other third party, you do so as your own document and on your own responsibility. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of what you present, including any statement that could be treated as a financial promotion, prospectus, forecast or representation in your jurisdiction. Auziplan is not the author of, and accepts no responsibility for, the representations you make.
9. Actuals, imports and third-party data
Where you import or enter actual figures from an accounting system, the variance analysis reflects only the data you provided. Auziplan does not audit, reconcile or verify imported data and is not a substitute for bookkeeping, an accounting ledger or an audited financial statement.
10. Availability and accuracy
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep calculations correct and the service running, we do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every calculation, benchmark or generated statement is accurate or complete. We recommend keeping your own exported copies of important plans.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auziplan and its operators are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, funding, business opportunity or data, nor for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from decisions made in reliance on outputs of the application. Nothing in this notice excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights you may have under consumer protection laws such as the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Questions
